Something Pinteresting is Going On, presenting quality  hand-painted vintage & antique furniture & home decor. Demonstrations of painting classes and workshops will be on site during the expo. She will be offering ideas on crafting, re-imagined furniture and recycling for the Country French, Shabby Chic and Rustic Farmhouse styles.

Merri Davis - Hoop Happy Hoop Healthy

Merri Davis will be presenting "Hoop Happy Hoop Healthy", all three days at the expo (see seminar schedule for times). Her goal is to introduce healthy hooping to be fit - not thin - and to encourage strong postures, core and cardio benefits, and all with laughter. WaterColor by Pamela - Courage Ablaze - ArtPrize 2012

Courage Ablaze, my ArtPrize 2012 work, will highlight the courageous stories of African refugees now living in West Michigan. These women have witnessed the brutal deaths of their husbands while their children have been torn away. Forced to flee their homes, they have endured unspeakable trauma: years of imprisonment and rape.

Although lines of pain trace their faces, courage is etched in their souls-the kind of true courage that is hammered out on the anvil of life's most horrifying circumstances. Yet their valiant response to these obstacles speaks of triumph and the spirit of true courage. These warm-hearted women and children have inspired me. Perhaps you will be inspired too.  

Pink Cadillac - Amazing Women Feature Area

A special area enveloped by pink tulips and hyacinths to celebrate the lives of amazing and inspiring women. The area will be complemented by Pink Door Spatique, a new Grand Rapids-based business that provides women fighting cancer with discreet, personal services, such as skin care, makeup, breasthetics, wigs and head coverings and electrology. Also, there will be a way for women to remember and honor their loved ones.
